LENTEN DEVOTIONALS
Lenten Devotionals have arrived! If you preordered, you will find your devotional(s) labeled with your name on the table in the back of the Worship Center. The suggested donation is $7 and may be placed in the basket on the table or with your tithes/offerings. There are also a few extra devotionals available on the table on a first-come, first-served basis. The devotional begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18.
LENTEN SEASON SCHEDULE
Within the Christian tradition, the 6 weeks prior to Easter are know as Lent. It is during this season that Christians all over the world prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus through an intentional period of prayerful reflection, fasting, and repentance. Here at RCnaz we are planning special events to help us move toward Easter with intentionality. We hope your schedule will allow you to participate in the following:
Ash Wednesday Service, February 18 at 7:00pm
“Consumed,” Sundays beginning February 22 between 10:00-10:15am in Worship Center - this is a time for individuals to move closer to God through quiet reflection, prayer and communion
Good Friday Service, April 3 at 7:00pm
Easter Services, April 5 at 9:30am and 11:00am
ANNUAL ELECTIONS & MEETING
As we prepare for our new church year beginning March 1, all RCnaz members will be asked to vote in our Annual Elections taking place today and next Sunday, February 22. Pastor Chris DeMott will be conducting our annual meeting at 5:00pm next Sunday, February 22. At this meeting, he will present the election results as well as next year’s budget proposal and upcoming objectives (note: all RCnaz members and non-members are invited to attend the annual meeting).
RCnaz SKI NIGHTS
The final RCnaz ski night at Caberfae is scheduled for Friday, February 20. Cost is $12 lift ticket and $12 equipment rental. Reservations are required by 10:00pm Monday, February 16. To RSVP, please complete the RSVP ski form. Contact Becky in the church office or see the form for more information.
