LEGACY WEEKEND AT RCnaz
RCnaz will be hosting two different training sessions on Saturday, September 20 with information and free resources designed to help you create a will or trust no matter your season of life. The first session at 9:00am will be focused upon families / individuals who have accumulated some assets and no longer have “minor” children under their care. The second session at 1:00pm will be focused upon families / individuals who do have “minor” children. If you do not have an estate plan in place, these free sessions will provide the resources needed to complete a will or trust. Please RVSP following this link.

FOOD TRUCK
RCnaz will be hosting a Food Truck on Tuesday, September 16. Many hands will be needed beginning at 3:45pm to help sort and distribute food into the waiting vehicles. Please also help us spread the word; distribution of food will begin at approximately 5:00pm. Please contact Ted Lehnen via call or text at 231-872-5628 if you are able to help. The remaining food truck dates for the year are October 21 and November 11.

RCnaz SOCCER CAMP
RCnaz is hosting our fourth annual soccer camp for children in Kindergarten - 5th Grade September 23-25 from 6-7:30pm. Cost is $15 per child which includes a camp t-shirt, soccer instruction and snack. REGISTER TODAY to receive a soccer camp t-shirt. THE CHOSEN SEASON 5
The Chosen Season 5 will be shown beginning next Sunday, September 14 through November 2 on Sunday evenings at 5:30pm in the large kids room. Contact Sue Houpt or the church office if you have any questions.

Several Connect Groups are now meeting or making plans to begin soon. We encourage you to find a Connect Group that will meet your schedule and needs from the list below:

Sundays weekly
  • (9:15am) Connect Sunday (beginning 9/14) - Book Study: “Practicing the Way”, led by Peter Strom, open to all (Family Room C)
  • (9:15am) Connect Sunday (beginning Sept. 14) - Bible Study: “Living Into God’s Promises”, open to all (Family Room A)
  • (5:30-7pm) Connect Sunday Night (beginning Sept. 14) - open to all, dinner provided (Family Room)
  • (5:30-7pm) Connect RCnaz Students - led by Pastor Joe, 7-12th Grade (Teen Room)

Sundays monthly (Sept. 21) 
  • (5:30-7pm) Connect Wesley Cell - led by Christa & Mike Marcin, open to all (Family Room)

Mondays
  • (weekly at 6pm) Love Does Connect (beginning 9/15) - led by Pat Osborne, open to all (RCnaz)

WOMEN’S RETREAT
All women are invited to the annual Northern Michigan District Women’s Retreat on Friday-Saturday, October 10-11 at the Timber Wolf Young Lake Camp in Lake City. Dr. Carla Sunberg, General Superintendent for the Church of the Nazarene, is the retreat speaker and you won’t want to miss what God lays on her heart to share. For more details, follow this link. Assistance is available for those wishing to attend but unable to cover the full cost of the retreat. Please contact the church office or talk to Pastor Chris for more information.
